Durable Construction
All SHEL LAB vacuum ovens are built with a 304 stainless steel chamber for exceptional durability. We use true brass vacuum valves with Teflon seats to prevent leaks.
Innovative Design
The doors have positive latch handles with spring-loaded glass to facilitate proper vacuum seal without hinge binds that decrease gasket life. A selection of gaskets (for specific applications) and a small bench top footprint increase the versatility of our ovens. Our unique cross-flow ventilation forces inert gas to fill the entire chamber.
Cross Flow Ventialtion
All SHEL LAB vacuum ovens feature a unique cross-flow ventilation design to ensure superior performance. The vacuum port and the vent port are located on opposite sides of the chamber to create cross flow patterns. During vacuum operation, heavy particles and condensation from the oven interior are not pulled into the vacuum pump. More importantly, Nitrogen or other inert gas is forced across the greatest distance inside the oven chamber, passing over your samples and purging the chamber. Corrosion resistant stainless steel tubing is used for the gas purge piping system.
KF25 Fitting
All vacuum plumbing and KF25 connections are provided.

Hi Temperature InsulationThe Shellab 1400 Vacuum oven series is wrapped with high temperature insulation to keep the outer surface of the oven chamber from becoming too hot to the touch. These ovens are CE Certified ensuring performance efficiency.. |
